"Music enriches
our lives and stirs our souls."
Vision Statement, MfTWH
In Summary:
In the fall of 1983, an exciting new series
of chamber music was inaugurated, and on September 26th of
that year the Cuyahoga Valley Arts Ensemble performed before
an enthusiastic audience in the Music Room at Stan Hywet in
Akron. Nineteen seasons later on September 29, 2002, this
critically acclaimed chamber music series took up residence in
The Chapel on the campus of Western Reserve Academy. Beginning
with the 2010 - 2011 season, Music from The Western Reserve
has added Christ Church Episcopal as one of its performance
venues. Christ Church offers superior acoustical
properties and is the ideal setting for chamber music
concerts.
